Our Story
Welcome to Carolina Connection Car Service LLC, a company born out of a passion for driving and a commitment to providing a superior ride experience. Our founder, a driving enthusiast since their teenage years, recognized the need for a service that prioritized safety, communication, and a welcoming atmosphere.
After using rideshare platforms and experiencing firsthand the gaps in service, our founder decided to become a driver themselves. Over the last 8 years, they consistently maintained high ratings of 5.0 and 4.95, demonstrating their dedication to providing excellent service. However, they noticed that the compensation for drivers on these platforms often fell short, leading to overworked drivers and a compromised ride experience for customers.
This realization sparked the idea for Carolina Connection Car Service LLC. Our founder wanted to create a company that not only provided a superior service for customers but also treated its drivers fairly. Thus, our company was born, with the aim of being the kind of service that our founder would want to use – friendly, safe, and reliable.
Our Founder’s Journey
Our founder brings over 20 years of customer service and driving experience to the company. Their journey began in high school, working as a cashier at KMart, and continued through college, where they worked for a car dealership, providing transportation for customers. This early exposure to the service industry laid the foundation for their strong interpersonal skills, which were further honed through years of working as a server in restaurants.
In 2017, a personal experience with a car breakdown led to our founder using Uber and Lyft for transportation. This experience solidified their decision to become the kind of driver they would want to have. Once they acquired a new car later that year, they embarked on their career in transportation, culminating in the creation of Carolina Connection Car Service LLC.
